sad thg is i cant go to T.
29th June 2005 1:14:16pm, chou chouz said to Ming "sad thng is i cant go to T."

side note: T. (T dot) = the latest cool way of saying Toronto

When that message came through, i saw my summer winterized... no longer will it be as exciting as it was suppose to be, it will be lacking in the warmth. It will be dreary, dismal, bleak and dull...

So many things I do or see, I vision you by my side. I imagine your excitement or wonder if you will like it too.

Why chou chouz? Why did u crush my dreams? Lifted me up and dropped me down.
*sob sob* Yet, I can't blame you... you gave me something to look forward to. And I know it's not your fault... *sob sob* There will be next time.

This should not happen to anyone!

Other than the horrible ass-freezing winter, the other thing I hate most in Canada is falling sick. I believe one should NOT be alone when they get sick. Falling sick in itself is miserable enough. Being along while being sick is just absolutely depressing!

No one to whine to, no one to bring water for you, no one to cook for you, no one there to pamper you.... *sob sob*

Gay Pride 2005

It's celebrating it's 25th Birthday, and it's nice to know that such a big milestone happened the year I was born! Ah... I feel important! haha...

For those of you who has no idea what it is, every year during summer, Toronto host a Gay Pride Parade. Streets are shut down around the gay district. People celebrate, go crazy and embrace the liberated minds of Torontonians!

My 2nd experience of this parade was alright. It's definitely an experience to have, but I don't think I would eagerly wanna go again in future. However, I wouldn't mind checking out the Dyke parade next year. It's a good thing I had a friend volunteering for the St. John's ambulance, so we got free water to prevent us from dehydrating!

Came home completely exhausted! I believe even after 2 1/2 bottles of water, I was still slightly dehydrated.. It's a good thing we drove and had parked relatively near, but I know I would NEVER park on that street again... surrounded by rehab homes, shelters, etc... super damn scary!

Check out this link for some really interesting pictures taken at the parade.

Midnight Madness... Madness indeed!

I've never been to any kind of Midnight Madness, and finally today, a friend invited me to the IKEA Midnight madness.

If you think that the usual congestion at IKEA is bad, wait till u see this! It was a really bad idea for me to pick up a small shelf and my friend to pick out a big frame so early in our conquest... And I made things worse by back tracking to pick up another shelf.. oh my.. You should see my palms and the whiplash-like marks on my shoulder the next morning!

BUT! It was all worth it. Came out of this ordeal with a 9 drawer shelf, a flat floating shelf, a bag of 100 tealight candles, and a milk frother. All for just $40. So proud of myself! My housewife skills are just getting better! Now, I just need a drill.. anyone?

The Pressure is On

Now that have one very loyal reader, I have to make sure I keep this blog updated. My dear friend, my loyal reader, and currently, probably the only reader. heh heh.. It's weird writing this blog, but not really knowing who to announce it to. Who do I know will be interested in reading silly tidbits about me and my life?

The 9 Digits

Here in Canada, one's identity is reduced to a miserable 9 digits called the Social Insurance Number(SIN). I am mystified by the origin of this SIN name. I do not believe I have any kind of insurance with the possession of this SIN. Or do I?

With this SIN, I now have an permanent identity here in Canada. However, on the back of the card, it says that the SIN card is not an identity card... So the SIN gives me an identiy, but cannot be used as an identity card.

Life will not be fun without complexities!

Proud new owner of...

A mop, a bucket, a toilet bowl brush, and a sewing machine.

These are things housewives buy, or in my case, person who lives alone. (technically...)

A trip to the grocery store led to a trip to Canadian Tire, and therefore a trunk filled with these household supplies, along with some pathetic attempts at being healthy. Still, I'm not done buying groceries OR household items. *sigh* life of a housewife is depressing and definitely not something I care to look forward to. Cooking, cleaning and laundry..

The Gist

Most people start their blog with an entry that says something like please forgive me if I didn't do a good job, blah blah blah...

Don't apologise, just utilize. :P

Names... why are they so difficult to concoct? Why do we have to be judged by names?
What name can I use so that I won't one day wake up, and think that it sounds silly?
Yes, ExperienceMing is the best I could come up with that isn't already taken... came to me while i was driving. Funny how ideas just occur to u when u're least expecting it.

NOW!!! With all that settled, let the fun begin! Have a trip into my wacko crazy sad pathetic mind.
